He saw himself as a performer, an artist, so he payed much attention to his skating outfits and all his appearance style in the programs. It's why he used all this make up like he was a drama's actor. ) It helped his always look different in every season, from program to program. He is a very unique skater in every way - all these past years since have only confirmed it.
