2007 Dodge Ram Overdrive not working. Fixed

2007 Dodge Ram 1500 overdrive not working. It had code P0344. Replaced the camshaft position sensor which fixed it.

This is awesome I was having the same issue with my Chrysler aspen with the 5.7 hemi and the same code came up. I traded it and when they brought it into the shop they said the transmission needed to be rebuilt. If this fixes the problem im gonna lose it.

Thank you I'll have to try it. I've been having the exact issue. Also cruise control and remote starters won't work with a check engine light on.

Your 2007 Ram has the 545RFE which is a 5 speed automatic correct? I am about to buy a 2005 Ram single cab 2wd with the 4.7L Magnum and it lost overdrive on the current owner. He said it is throwing the check engine light, but doesn't know the code. I wonder if this is the same issue as yours with the CPS?

I wish I could tell you, but it was on the truck when I got it. I can't take any credit for that. Looks like a normal muffler except only about 15 in. long. No numbers or letters on it that I can see. Sorry. I thought it sounded good too. Thanks

Try your output speed sensor I had a 95 dodge ram that overdrive wasn't working I replaced that well I replaced the input and output speed sensors and got the over drive fixed they don't cost much either and easy to replace

My 2004 dodge ram only 1st and 3rd gear works only, I changed the transmission shift sensor and still does the same
