Got one today 2007, 1.8 Petrol Duratec. No turbo, no DM Flywheel, just plain old engine, one stage clutch and a lot of comfort. Excellent for cruising. For me, this was a great buy. After driving various diesels for 15 years I am finally back to petrol.

@@AC-db4ek I average between 9 and 11L/100km in city, 7-8 open. But diesel prices went up as well. Still cheaper, but man this car rides smoooooth.

i own and drive 1 Cmax 2008 2.0 tdci 136 hp... recently added a new android/gps/bluetooth autoradio... 253500 kms and a lot to come

These will easily do over 400.000 if well maintained, especially the one you have.

only big problem is the DPF. The 1.8 never had DPF

1.8 TDCi is not bad, but 2.0TDCi 136 hp is much better - reliable, faster (210 km/h) and with 6 gears. We had very similar one with 2.0 and I recommend it.
