ive done this before to my not only truck but intrepid too beleve me its not easy and alot and i mean alot of work back breaking finger and nuckle smashing work and an takes your wallet to $0 but the end result is pricless and total achevement feeling for sure and something that will last forever in my book so great job and it sure turned out nice thanks again for posting much love from Cecil county MD

I did a 3 inch lift. Wheels 🛞 are 18's. Tires are 265/70/18.

Amazing work! Where did you get the engine from? I have a 2007 and the mechanic told me I lost the 6 cylinder. He was vague, and I don’t know if he is misleading me. I found a shop that would replace the engine but I want to by the engine myself. Or should I pull the engine and have a machine shop rebuild the original engine? Thanks

Thanks. I found the engine online and had it shipped to my mechanic's home 🏡. Think I paid $1400 with a warranty.

What lift did you use to get it leveled out. I know that lifts for the 2nd gen are very limited. Did you use a strut spacer and if so is it holding up well without your ball joints going out

We used a strut spacer kit for this truck, but I lowered the upper control arm mounting points on the strut tower, so we don’t have that crazy control arm lean, so no ball joint issues.
