2007 GMC PRERUNNER "Trophy Sierra" WALKAROUND!

This episode of #walkaboutit was done with another close friend of ours, Mason, owner of the trophy sierra. He has spent the last few years building this truck into a super fun prerunner that is still very daily drivable. Looking forward to doing more of these videos!

How does he keep the rack together! I have a 07 Sierra crew cab with basically the identical setup front and rear. I go through a rack after every 3 or 4 trips. I put a rack in it a week ago. Went on a full day in the dirt on Sunday and the new rack is blown out. I’ve had this setup for prob 6 years now and I’ve gone through prob 20 racks. A can change them in 30 mins now though. Thank God for the autozone lifetime warranty on my rack haha

Probably need to limit strap it earlier, I know its common on Rangers to blow racks when they droop out too much too often.

Not sure what kit you are running and what the situation is, but my first guess is that the kit is bumping too high or drooping too low.

Wings World I’m running the same mazzulla kit as the truck in this video, same exact rear setup too. Front and rear are both bumped and strapped. I got everything straight from Chris mazzulla. Even got the limiting straps through him too. I’m not very easy on the truck. I’ve been told by multiple people that the GM racks just suck with a offroad setup. I just didn’t know if your buddy had a better setup or what

stoprefresh I’m going to have to pull the coil and cycle it. I’ve just been sending it. I’m at 18” from bump to strap which the kit cycles. I’ll have to check everything again. Thanks for the feedback
