Wow! Quite an effort to render out this whole game. I did notice that it didn't appear to be 1080p or even 720p60, but it's a definite improvement over regular TV broadcast quality. It sounds like the original frame rate was 60fps but it was interlaced for TV. So now, I guess it's 30fps non-interlaced?

The AI improvements to the video quality were actually all done at 720p 30fps; The reason this video can be viewed in "1080p" on youtube is because when I stitched all of the different parts together I just rendered it at 1080p because it would make it look better on youtube. I've found if you have a video that is native 720p and upload it to youtube at the native resolution, it actually looks worse quality than if you re-size it to 1080p. I think it has something to do with how youtube compresses the video on their end after I upload it as it keeps a higher bitrate the higher the resolution is. The original television broadcast definitely would have looked better than this video does as it was natively broadcast at 720p60fps/1080i60fps. The original broadcast would have been 60fps whether it was the interlaced 1080i signal, or the de-interlaced 720p signal (which would have been de-interlaced by the cable box/satellite box/TV itself). I'm not sure who the original person is who recorded this copy of the game, so I'm not sure how it was recorded or what the master copy looks like. At some point, it was downscaled to 360p 30fps before it was uploaded to youtube but I'm not sure when. The footage I used to make this video was uploaded to youtube at 360p 30fps (I linked the original video in the description, but the uploader appears to have deleted it). Without the original youtube video as a reference, it's hard to fully appreciate the bump in quality all of the video processing I did, and while I do still have the original untouched videos I grabbed from youtube to make this version, I don't see a point in uploading them as they are in essence inferior. The only reason to upload them would be to compare them to this version, but I don't think people are all too concerned about it. I used AI to upscale/improve the quality by de-blocking the compression artifacts and upscaling the resolution from 360p to 720p. Once the picture quality was cleaned up, I then doubled the frame rate back to its original 60fps (or as close as I could). The final video is not perfectly smooth like the original broadcast would have been as I believe the copy I used to make this video didn't have a perfectly smooth 30fps (I think some of the frames were doubled when it was downscaled). The downscaling and jittery frame rate was probably not done on purpose, but rather a consequence of someone re-encoding the original copy for whatever reason, and didn't have the correct settings/used a crappy program to re-encode it. While this is the best quality version I have, if you could see the original HD recording it would look much better. But I don't have it, and I don't know where it came from or who recorded it so I have no way of comparing them. Everything I said about the 360p version I found on youtube is purely speculation on my part based on what makes sense to me. I would LOVE to one day get my hands on a true HD copy of this game but for now this is the best public copy.

I used to think that too , yet I saw how Glen played for us in the 2017 final against Toronto and he was terrible, so it could have been the same outcome.

@@wintertime331Sask got robbed in 2017 East final. Glenn got roughed up and of course there was no call, which turned out to be pivotal in the outcome of that game. However I’m glad Winnipeg lost in 07 lol.

I agree. The SkyDome (Rogers Centre of course) had MORE energy, especially when the Argos won the Grey Cup there in 2012.

@@brandonmorris92 ahh yeah, the Grey Cup 2012. That was my favorite. And maybe the favorite CFL season of all. Especially that Eastern final at the Olympic stadium in Montreal. That was special.

Life time rider ride or die fan but id have love to seen glen and Dominguez play in this game. Wbb loses there qb riders lost there best Receiver... it been a hole different game.
