Really cool,, glad you heard it before it was too late,,, you are a inspiration after your video I pulled 2 bikes out of my 🚛 trailer they have been in there for at least 10 years I'm so mad at myself,,, the first one is a IT250 1982 there was a part of the exhaust broken off in side the pipe blocking it up and it would not start,,,cut it open,,got it out,,, cleaned carb and it started on 3erd kick next 86 YZ250 so thanks

Great video. Had a lot of bad experiences working on KX250f’s in the past. Owned a few of them and had friends with them, they always make great power but are notorious for valvetrain/head issues. Plenty of warped heads, excessive crank case pressure from valve trouble, overheating issues, and constant shim jobs. I just don’t mess with them anymore. Always have better luck with Honda haha. I do enjoy seeing someone have the patience for the Kawasaki’s though because they can be good dependable bikes. Every brand has their own set of issues though and the previous owners have a lot to do with the mechanical failures. Every motor is a gamble

You are right, I have had more trouble with the Kawasakis than any other manufacturer, Yamaha a close second. I do like Honda for their Unicam design. I have this exact bike as my personal for about 6 years doing only oil changes, cleaning the filter, etc and never a problem. My next video I do the timing chain, tensioner and measure the valve clearances on my personal bike and everything looks new (spoiler alert). It really has to do with how the bikes are maintained more than manufacturer imho. Appreciate the comment and thanks for watching.

Which parts are you referring to? I got the complete head used off of eBay.
