2007 Mitsubishi Galant - Battery Terminal Cable Repair

So basically the wire has to touch the terminal post? I thought that's was the terminal clamp was supposed to do? If that's the case then I just figured out I don't need a new battery, I need to adjust the clamp.

I have a question, I replaced a new battery and alternator, but my battery still doesn't charge. I have gotten them checked and nothing and ideas. I have the same car 07 gallant.

How do you use the voltmeter to test what's it supposed to say 0? Why did you touch the two together before you tested it is that a mode you put it in?

Do you have a number so I can talk to you about my Dodge charger 2010 my Dodge charger have a red dot in it it do not want to crank what to do about it I need help and I took the fuel box off the Dodge charger then I plug it back up and then it want to crank but it don't stay long
