How did you remove the inside cable attached to the actuator and the handle?

The tightening of the three torx door jam screws actually warps the lock mechanism and causes the problem. The solution is to follow this video and then gently install the three torx head screws with Locktite. DO NOT over tighten the screws. It appears to be a design problem.

Yes, I completely agree, the screws warped on mine. Now what? The part, as depicted in this video, does not snap back. It moves and it just seems miss aligned. Anyone’s help is appreciated thank you

This is what i need to do to my new to me 2005 pathfinder. but driver side. I brake cleaned it and silicone lubed it but it still sticks. gonna have to remove the door panel ugh.
