This set was my entire childhood. Unfortunately I don’t have it anymore, but I still have footage of playing with it on a home camera used for family videos. Also my favourite part was when PCP said BOOGITY BOOGITY BOOGITY!!! LETS GO RA-……..oh and the McQueen flew off the track😂

17:08 can confirm. I had the Florida one, and it was really discructable and kinda big leading the cars becoming slower until they hit the booster again. But one of the funny things i remembered was that my dad took the booster and built his own version utilizing a track made out of wooden plates and steel and it was tons of fun. Sadly we demolished it in 2020 because my dad wanted area in the living room for an area for him and my mum to sit,watch movies and talk after work. The track was tons of fun. RIP Pappa 500 from 2017-2020

Oh my god... my childhood... Bro yes it's true plastic cars zoom like crazy on this thing 😂 My dog Jessie, now sadly passed, she loved to watch the cars zoom around when she was a puppy. That both made me think of my fun times with Cars as a 2000's boy, but it also made me think of her, she loved following them, wagging her tail, when she was small 😊 She passed at almost 13 last year, which is very old for a dog and I'm thankful she lived for that long. And yes if you're wondering, she IS named after Jessie from Toy Story. Thank you for this video, as a collector, sad you had to open it but hey for a bit of fun, it's totally okay, there's much more important things in life. Nice content, even in my twenties, I can't help but check out these when they pop in my recommendations. 👍

Dude, where do I start? I remember getting this for my 7th birthday with this same packaging variant, assembled on that day with my mom and dad, and just ran races with every diecast, including Hot Wheels I had at the time. When I say this was my grail when it came to the Cars line early on, this truly took the spot, I had friends come over one time, and I literally would not let them touch it 😅. I still have the set in storage, man a lot of fun mornings, afternoons, and nights were made with this track. So many memories are flashing right now as I type this. Simply nostalgic, what a throwback 🥲

I think the closest thing we have to this now is the Florida International Speedway, but that one's a lot bigger, and it isn't made of these flexible track pieces, so it ultimately ends up being worse. You always need a set of fresh batteries and cars that haven't been worn down with age in order to have a decent run, and then, you can only have a maximum of about 3 cars before things start getting out of hand. 4 if you're careful, but 5 is too many. Here, on this track, though, you can easily get 5 cars on if you time it right

Yo. This review.. makes me smile. I have both the Florida 500 set and this one. But the Piston Cup 500 review makes me smile! I used to get this from Toys R Us in 2012 in its Radiator Springs Classic packaging. Back then I lost a lot of parts some of the stickers. :( So my dad suggested to get a new one on ebay, even though it had a ridiculous price. He bought it for me and it is still one of my favorite sets I own to this day. 😊 This is such a great review. And I thought the Toy Story signature collection from Thinkway Toys would be that rare as the Piston Cup 500 set. This had a lot of non stop racing action, and it's a lot of fun. I would personally prefer this over the Florida set but.. i just think to myself why not? Such a great review and I feel like i'm in memorly lane now. 😊😊 Ever thought of reviewing the Cars 2 Tokyo Spinout set soon? 👀
