Jack bailing out of a “bit” 1/2 way thru is one of his funniest characteristics. It’s a rough time than when you are in the middle of “being hilarious” and you realize you are lost in a ramble.

Hey Jack, I know you are confused as to why Spider-Man is at Universal Studios theme park. Back in the 90s, Marvel was in danger of going broke, so they sold off the rights to Spider-Man. Sony bought the rights to air the films, and Universal Studios brought the rights to have theme* park rides. They still have that contract to this very day, which is why Universal Studios can have Spider-Man rides at their theme parks, despite the fact that Disney owns the movie rights for Spider-Man. Hope this helped!!
@Joe90h
@Joe90h 9 ай бұрын
Correction: Sony still owns the movie rights to Spiderman and his rogue's gallery, Disney just came to terms with Sony on a deal where they get to use the character. Similarly, Fox owned the X-Men and 'mutants' as well as the Fantastic 4, which is why Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver were retconned in the comics to not be Magneto's children or even mutants so they could use the characters without stepping on Fox's toes, and undermined and stopped making Fantastic 4 books to reduce interest in those characters. Then Disney purchased Fox and now we're getting Fantastic 4 in the MCU I guess

Even though Disney owns Marvel, Universal Studios has a contract that lets them use Spiderman, the X-Men, avengers and such. They have a dark ride themed to Spiderman, a drop tower based on doctor doom, and a roller coaster for Hulk, in addition to an entire area based around them (the art style is based on the 90’s animated characters) and they have costumes walk about characters.

I had a an Applied Electrical Theory instructor in the Navy, who was Filipino. Your "Bim Bim" reminded me of him. He used to shout "Bim!" and slap his stick of chalk against the blackboard when someone gave him the correct answer to an equation or question. Mr. Casteneda had a gift for making the most tedious of lessons entertaining. I hope that old fella is doing well, wherever he is.

Fun fact, “jungle gym” was a brand name at one point. They were invented by a patent lawyer from Chicago in the 1920s, he originally marketed them under the name Junglegym. He based them on what he called “children’s monkey instinct” to climb on things and was inspired by the bamboo cubes his geometry professor father made as teaching aids.

To suggest a future episode, I would recommend No Mercy 2007. Three Triple H WWE title matches, a HHH and Randy Orton match opens and closes the show (the first after Orton is awarded the WWE Title vacated by an injured John Cena), a Punjabi Prison match between The Great Khali and Batista, CM Punk defending the ECW Title against Big Daddy V and a pizza eating contest between Matt Hardy and MVP live on PPV.
