the caracteristic sound comes from the 3 cylinders pretty unusual in a car in 2007 but now more cars have it for fuel economy

I bought a 2008 Aygo Platinum as basic transport and have totally fallen for it. Took it apart, added sound deadening and fitted a tachometer. Haven't noticed any fuel crisis 😁

These are still everywhere here in the Netherlands. My friend has one too. Great little city car but it is really really tiny. I prefer the newer generations of the Aygo, 108 and C1.

I like this funny city car. Engine's sound on the highways so loud. But it's difficult to associate this car with Toyota, Citroen C1 and Peugeot 107 are better names for this car.

Sprzęgło się ślizgało? Zmiana biegów, zwłaszcza na autostradzie aż "bolała". Poza tym bardzo uboga wersja, ani elektrycznych szyb, ani fabrycznego radia, czy tym bardziej klimy (ale to akurat przy tym silniku dobrze wpływa na osiągi, haha). No i ten "check engine" na deser ;)

Toyota IQ is waaaay better design, shorter and has tachometer.

The IQ looks and feels higher quality, but It's definitely a lot less practical than an Aygo. The Aygo also came with a tachometer as an option.
