IF this fuse block gets tripped, can it cause the AC panel not to power up inside the vehicle?

I think 🤔 I need to do this to mines. I wish I could just pay you to do it

I see the white areas you marked, but when you say click with the screwdriver, are you saying there is a clip i can press and then just move to the next one and it will stay unclicked? do i press down or pull towards or away with the screwdriver. I really wish you would have show how you "unclicked" the fuse bank instead of just showing that you were able to.

Whoever designed this cluster needs to be caned. What a nightmare. On the one I’m working on mice moved into the fuse box and chewed up all the wires. Turns out Toyota built in a nice mouse size hole right under where the headlight harness exits the box and there is a perfect nesting area in the box where the mice can have babies and chew on all the wires in their spare time.

Agreed... Toyota should re-design that fuse block as plug-in module that snaps into position in 30 seconds.. As far as that mouse hole, you may want to try a can of expanding foam used in home walls. Its waterproof and seals of on both sides of the hole.

@@oantech4252 I have an issue with all of my windows not working. I fuses are good. The window buttons were replaced and still not working. I replaced that fuse in this video, and windows still don't work. I was told that i need to repla the fuse box, because its could be some bad wires or etc. does any one know why all the windows would stop working all of a sudden?

@@bangryman100 I believe that Toyota has an open recall on the power window switch for many Tundras. Water gets in and causes problems with the windows. You may want to check with a Toyota dealer and maybe they can at least diagnose it while servicing the recall. Have your VIN number ready when contacting them..

Please tell the PROBLEM before you go into detail about the repair. Whats the issue? The entire fuse block? Whats contained in the fuse block, what circuit? You said a mouse chewed wires in the cab. So how did you trace the issue back from there? I'm looking to try to diagnose mine from the beginning and you went straight into the repair.

I am replacing the fuse block on my 2012 Tundra and I can't figure out how to unclip it from those white clips you are showing. Are they somehow different? I'm ending up breaking off the plastic and can't get it loose.
@oantech42522 жыл бұрын
The release for each clip is down inside each hole. Use a small flat blade screwdriver. You may have to use a few screwdrivers to get it started. I used a white paint marker to better show the locations on the video. They are not originally white, just rectangular holes. It may be best to split the outer housing first and raise it with the help of a screwdriver as shown in the video to allow the gray fuse block room to drop out of its seat. Hope that helps. Toyota should really make this easier with a slide-in fuse cartridge instead of a one hour disection of the entire electrical system.
