Great video you may want to remind your viewers to use a lil bit of anti-seize thread lubricant on the fill and drain plugs as they are dissimilar metals. Anyway, great how to video.

If you have a Rogue Sport SV like mine you might not have to cover the exhaust to do the front one. It seems different that way whereas with other trim levels the Rogue comes in all of those KZbin vids show guys having to cover their exhaust in that part. Maybe mine was designed differently. Because I did not know mine was different, I put it on ramps the previous night so that the exhaust would be cold. I was going to wrap plastic or foil on it temporarily but I was pleasantly surprised I didn't have to. I also now realize I can do it on a hot vehicle safely enough since the exhaust is NO obstacle there at all. The drain plugs were both 10 MM hex requiring a socketed bit but the aluminum washers for the front and back look identical except one of those two part numbers is negligibly thicker. They are so similar they look interchangeable and it would not surprise me if other people did and had no leaks. To see the difference in the two you have to put them on a flat surface like a countertop known to be flat (no bows or humps) up against each other. It is only then you will realize any difference in the two washers. A micrometer would also reveal the same differences but if you held one in one hand and one in the other you might not notice it at all.

Rear differential and also transfer case both take 80w 90 gear oil and take about .5 quarts after draining.

Front takes half quart and the rear diff. takes half quart as well?
