2008-2022 Toyota Sequoia 5.7 Muffler Delete

Finally after a year and a half of ownership I got the muffler removed from my 2014 Toyota sequoia limited with the 5.7 iforce

It's not nearly as bad as I thought it would be in the cab. Still there's a reason I paid a pretty penny for mine. Cutting the muffler off definitely wasn't one of them. I love that JBL audio far too much.

The jbl isn't bad for a stock system in fact its one of the better ones I've heard and for my fiance its good enough but it's not up to my standards lol. although I probably won't touch it till the speakers are blown

@sparkyoffroad Agreed. I consider it mostly a bonus the real selling point is easily throeing your self in to them heated leather seats with a light push on that accelerator, anns having room for 8 people to feel it too. Ours is a 2013 limited four wheel drive model. I am excited for winter this year strangely. This is our first year of ownership, probably has something to do with it. I love 4runners, but these trucks are far more about traveling and comfort. Fantastic vidoe my friend!

@@PearComputingDevices yea that 381 hp and 401 tq work nicely at doing that, I also love my 4runners but the sequoia is definitely a nicer family hauler/road trip/toy rig than the 4runners just like they are better at offroading than the sequoia, and thanks man I really appreciate it

Sounds really good man. I have put a Magnaflow on my 2015. Has a bit of drone, not bad tho. Thinking I need a little more aggressive.

Which magnaflow did you use? I think I had an 18!or 20 inch on lily sequoia and it was so loud in the cab that I had to go back to stock

How's the drone inside? I deleted my stock muffler on my '11 Sequoia and it was unbearable. I ended up having them add a flowmaster 40. It helped, but it's still so bad, I'm seriously considering going back to the stock. The droning is particularly bad around 1700 to 2000 rpm. I'm looking into electric cutoffs so I can get the best of both worlds. Not quite sure how well they seal. Don't want the ticking sound of an exhaust leak if they cutoffs don't seal completely.

Doesn't bother me or my family at all but ice had loud trucks since u was 16 and my kid doesn't know any different either.. at the end of the video is a good taste of the interior volume
