I've been in both, there is no way the ride quality is better in the Expedition, plus the seats are more comfortable in the Yukon/Tahoe. The expedition does win on the cargo area and 3rd row though.

You are right. Honestly I think not saying in this review that the 09's have 6 speed autos is a big thing because the 6 speed is a big difference from the 4 speed..

great looking truck, i love GM suv's, ive owned an 98 tahoe lt, 03 tahoe lt, and now a 09 tahoe LTZ, and they have to be the best trucks on the road today

I rode in the 2nd row of the Expedition to Detroit last year. One of the worst rides of my life. The Navigator is slightly better. I similarly took the Yukon to Milwaukee last year and it was a very smooth trip better than both Fords. I can only go by my experiences.

No, Sorry I didn't make it clearer I was trying to compare a body on frame with a crossover. We get that question a lot. Why would I get this Yukon over an Acadia?

Thats the GMC Envoy, and Chevy trailblazar. That is the midsized body on frame plateform. This came out in late 2006.

He's wrong in saying that there is no difference between 08 and 09. The 09s get a 6 speed rather than a dated 4 for the 5.3L engines.

the amount of pollution made just to create the nickel battery on the toyota prius is more than the amount of pollution it takes to make a Gmc yukon, and drive it over 250,000 miles so before you start talking about how trucks are murdering polar bears, just know that just making a prius kills more polar bears then driving a yukon

No way buddy! Stats. shows the Ford Expedition doing 7.5secs. 0-60...while, the GMC Yukon & Chevy Tahoe does 8.2secs. 0-60! Also..., Car&Driver, MotorTrend and, Automobile states, the Ford Expedition has better ride quality than both GMC Yukon and, Chevy Tahoe.
