Maybe you can help me with this problem I have…my 2007 GT250R turns on sounds good, but when I ride it and open the throttle it won’t go past 40mph

There is so many things that can be wrong but to find the problem we need to start with the most common things , have you check your carburetor, sometimes when carburetors are dirty that what usually happens , I need a little more feedback What does your motorcycle do when is going at 40mph , does it feel like is going to turn off ‽ Do you hear any back fire?

@@jmrbuilds it doesn’t feel like it’s going to turn off and the carburetor is clean…when I turn the throttle it sputters a little but that’s it…it all started when I pulled off the exhaust to heat wrap it…it was never the same after that 😩

@@juanmeza7020 I think I know what's wrong because it happened to me too! I assuming that you had to remove the gas tank to get access to the exhaust pipes , right ? If you did remove the gas tank, check the fuel lines I'm pretty sure one of them is pinched , When I was restoring my gt250 I installed the gas tank on top of one of the fuel hoses and my bike would turn on and run fine but wouldn't go pass 55mph I removed the gas tank And I didn't see anything wrong , so when I put back the gas tank I saw how one of the old fuel lines wouldn't hold the shape and it would bent and that would restrict that fuel that was going to the carb , probably you have the same problem
