2008 hyundai Elantra Starter replacment Part 1

No click, no sound , no crank when turning key in ignition but all the lights come on inside on dashboard. The Starter was the problem. And i only had starter for 6 month so i bought a defective one.

Antonio, thank you for posting. I had road crap on the bolts. I thought the starter bolt heads were corroded off. I was on the wrong end. I looked at the starter and realized I was okay. I found the 14mm bolt heads.

Good video man. Next time you jack your car up make sure you have jack stands to support your car because hydraulic jacks can give out. Great video though. Made me feel confident enough to make me wanna do my own car.

Dude same.thing with my 2007 elantra wack starter it starts so tomorrw ima be replacing that bad boy... this video helped me so much... I have a jack and drivers... I know my shop guy would charge 100 plus for this job ez... how much did u buy the new starter furnace they 50 buck or more like 70?

When you tapped it to test for the starter, did you have to go underneath the car? Probably going to be doing in the next day or so.
