i love how you don't move the camera around too much. it's stationary.. that allows us to see the fireworks more clearly and view it more easily. when you move the camera while the fireworks are stil going on, it takes away the beauty of it... soo good job on filming this vid!!!

That's why this is supposedly the last year to have fireworks at Taipei 101. It was hard to solicit sponsors. I missed the fireworks since I was on my way back from Taipei to Chicago.

Thanks for your response! ^_^ For a better view to take the video, I stood in a small park but not in the place of celebration performance. In fact, according to the news, there were about 500,000 people in that district to see the fireworks. Besides, because of the 509 meters height of Taipei 101, we can also see the fireworks everywhere in Taipei metropolis.

While on the topic of fireworks of various countries, I highly reccomend looking up videos of Maltese fireworks. They make extremely impressive and beautiful multi-break canister shells over there. There's just nothing else like them, in my opinion. High-rise fireworks are dang cool too though!

The countdown that goes up the building this year was cheaper, it was a lot better in 2006 when they lit up all 101 stories and shut off the lights as time counted down. But still, it owns Disneyland's fireworks. I love it! Five stars all the way.

That was awesome. It looked kinda like the building was disinegrating, which was a cool effect. The Taipei 101 is an awesome building, I'm kind of sad it's not the tallest building in the world anymore.

@kc821guam It was by Samsung heavy industries. Koreans are master builders they also built Burj Kalifa the tallest building in the world in UAE and also part of the Twin towers in Malaysia, was the tallest fo a brief time..
