it makes me mad that shes not going to worlds in her home town!!! especially when at this competition she beat the other two girls who are going to worlds...it not fair!! :(

this was the best performance this year for caroline, but u cant compare her skating skills with mao asada, the speed and transitions, caroline looks like a junior in comparison with mao or yu na, she will get there i hope but now she is in a lower level

wow, that was a beautiful performnce the best i've seen from her..she would fare much better at worlds than czisny, who can't seem to perform under pressure.

also spins should get ALOT more points then they do now. Spins are underappreciated. everything is about jumps these days...

I agree. Too many serious, permanent injuries result from doing all those repetitive jumps. It's so not worth sacrificing the well being of perfectly good athletes. They should have separate competitions: One for technical and one for artistry. Caroline is very strong artistically and this isn't appreciated like it should be.

I don't know if it's just me or was she skating a little faster than usual? I mean, compared to the others she's still a slow skater, but she's still beautiful to watch. She should have placed higher considering Mao and Yu-Na both fell.

But most likely will end up with 3 in the Olympics because they have all been skating very strongly this year. Laura Lepisto won Europeans.

if you don't care then why bother comment, you are such a troll! and you should stop lying. Caroline's jumps are just fine. Her 3-3 got downgraded, which is quite normal these days under the new strict rule. Yu-Na Kim is the one and only skater who constantly gets ratified 3-3 jumps. All other skaters get downgraded all the time. Actually, Caroline has more ratified 3-3 jumps than Miki Ando in the last two seasons.

I just don't think that her Sleeping Beauty program was working for her. It didn't completely suit her and she never looked fully comfortable skating it. This was a beautiful performance. She had the highest TES scores in the LP (over 60). Just think of what they would have been had she fully rotated the 3T in the 3F/3T combo and had more speed into the axel. Wish she was the one going to Worlds instead of the 7th and 9th place finishers, where we most likely have no shot at 3 spots.

im korean and those commentators are so ridiculously and disgustingly biased. They compare caroline's moves to yuna kims, pick out flaws in her movements and know absoultely nothing about figure skating. They can't even tell the difference between a proper layback and a plain ugly one. I am thorughly ashamed of my country right now.

The USA ladies need to skate faster and need to land more triple triple combo jumps.
