You never marched I take it... There is no such thing as "just a warm up" in top level drum corps. You are ALWAYS performing. You ALWAYS strive for perfection in everything you do at all times!

Your camera is freaking awesome!! I gotta get me one of those. May have to sell my soul to pay for it but its awesome. The brass line sounds more full this year. Im saying BD takes the win in 2009. They sound as strong as ever.

what a great balancing exercise, going from bottom heavy to top heavy and even it out. Wonder how many band directors would do that now.

Wow, I just got back from their 2011 Riverside show and they did this same routine there. It made my eyes water and was probably the loudest thing I've ever heard. Sadly, I cannot watch this video in the same way ever agin. Seeing it in person and having my ears hurt ruined it for me :)

@PHSMustangSAXPlayer Manaul focus is a wonderful thing. It's amazing how such a simple technique like changing focus can add so much to a clip. I've only seen a few examples frm this camera, but me likes. Me likes. Especially when watching DCI clips. :o)
@saxomojarf14 жыл бұрын
Its not because of the manual focus, its because its an f/1.2 lens which has a VERY shallow depth of focus when opened all the way up.

Impulse, Pacific Crest, and Mystikal are a few corps who do SCJA parades every year in the summer. I see them with my marching band for parades on the forth of july. They don't compete obviously, but they go nevertheless.

Beautiful sounding line ruined by the missed release at the end. Do that in the show and that is what the horn judge will harp on about for 15-30 seconds all the while missing the other greatness that you are putting out before them. Attention to detail is paramount at this level.
