Is this basically the same process for an AKL situation? I’m going to purchase that CAS4 test platform, looks like a handy tool! Any other BMW tools you would recommend that go hand in hand with the key tool plus/ im608/ auto pro pad?

How's it going with the tool? What was it that made you go with this over autel's IM platform?

The Tool is Great. I actually Owned the IM508 and IM608 before the Key Tool Plus. But the primary reason I chose to get the Key Tool Plus was mainly for European vehicles, seemless interaction between my Key Cutters {Condor and Dolphin}. I’ll always keep the IM608 and IM508 they’re truly amazing at what they do.

Why are you doing this on the bench as opposed to on the vehicle? I'm guessing it is safer that way?

Because the Vehicle had a 6HP EGS and the Tool won’t let you Preprocess the CAS via OBD
