New to The Fast Lane With Joe Tunney? Here's a short, funny video to get you up to speed: • Joe Tunney car salesma...
2009 BMW X5 4.8i review - In 3 minutes you'll be an expert on the 2009 BMW X5

our youtube channel is / usedinfinitis
This month we're plugging a funny video about the Infiniti IPL and the fact that our salesman was completely misinformed about why it is called the IPL, discovering only in the end that he has completely embarrassed himself. Take a peek if you have an extra couple of minutes.
• 2014 Infiniti Q60 IPL ...
Hi, this is Joe Tunney bringing to you a comprehensive catalogue of hundreds of great vehicles from throughout the automobile industry. Although we specialize in Acura, BMW, Lexus, Mercedes, sports cars, SUV's and of course our beloved Infiniti product line, we also like to carry and review exotic cars from time to time like Ferrari, Dodge Viper or 2009 BMW X5, turbocharged all-wheel-drive cars like Mitsubishi Evo, Honda S2000 and Subaru WRX, as well as affordable vehicles that fit into every budget. For 2014 we are going to make a point of reviewing everything we carry, demonstrating for you the interior and exterior features and condition, the wheels and tires, trunk space, as well as an overview of power, technology, economy and driving characteristics to give you factual information as well as information unique to this particular vehicle so that you can enjoy a more intelligent shopping experience without ever having to step onto the lot.
A little about me. I have been the manager at Infiniti of Kirkland since 2004 and prior to that I ran a high end car boutique in neighboring Bellevue, Washington. For my career I have sold over 10,000 cars so I hope to bring you far more insight than you might ever know to even ask. I show you in some videos how to see if a car has been in an accident, how to make a great buy on a car with a bad Carfax, or why I wouldn't personally buy a car even if it has favorable reviews. Every once in a while I'll even have a little fun to keep the videos fresh but I want to make certain you know that you can always email me at joet@infinitiofkirkland.com if you ever have any questions or feel I have made a mistake or used poor judgment or poor taste.
I am truly thankful for the hundreds of thousands of views and more importantly, perhaps much more importantly, I am honored to have been viewed in over 200 countries around the world. We all are ambassadors for the things we believe in regardless of where we were born and from my little corner of the world here outside of Seattle, Washington I want to express my sincere gratitude for you having invited me into your home, your place of work, or for simply taking a minute of your valuable time to listen to what I have to say. Maybe we will never meet face to face, but I am forever in your debt for giving me the opportunity to share with you the things I have learned. 2009 BMW X5 review. 2009 BMW X5 for sale.

The Fast Lane with Joe Tunney I was shocked because I looked up the top speed online and saw that the ones tested was governed at 130 mph. Once I got it pass 130 when going home around two in the morning I stayed in it and it was accelerating so fast. I got it up to 143 mph and had to slow down because of the bend in the road. I do not have the sport package so I do not know how in the hell it got up to that speed so fast. I was impressed by this beast it was so smooth and quiet at such a fast speed.

Thats not how displacement works...
@everycarSeattle
@everycarSeattle 10 жыл бұрын
from Wikianswers: "Displacement is the amount of space that an object takes up when placed in a fluid. Have you ever noticed how the water level rises in a bathtub when you get into it? The amount of water you are displacing is the volume of your body that is in the water. so by measuring the displacement of an object, you can measure the volume of the object." In the car world, gearheads know that you multiply how many cylinders times the stroke of each cylinder again multiplied by the bore of the cylinder (the actual size of the hole of the individual cylinder) squared and finally multiplied by pi over 4 (which is why a "stroked" motor has greater displacement than its standard counterpart. Though I could have given the second answer, the first answer is easier to grasp.

Engine displacement is the volume swept by all the pistons inside the cylinders of a reciprocating engine in a single movement from top dead centre to bottom dead centre. It is commonly specified in cubic centimetres (cc or cm3), litres (l), or (mainly in North America) cubic inches (CID). Engine displacement does not include the total volume of the combustion chamber.

These sell cheap, but a person has to consider the overall 'cost' of owning one. You are buying a very costly vehicle, that has several engine issues/leaks and electronic gremlins. So, 10K is fine, but you must budget 5K per year minimum to keep it on the road. Otherwise, it's a great drive.
@everycarSeattle
@everycarSeattle 5 жыл бұрын
They are more expensive to deal with Larry, that's for sure...I have a Mercedes GL that I've reviewed over the years featuring true total cost of ownership and even though it's more expensive than other used buys, it's a far better deal than buying something new with no creature comforts whatsoever...over the long haul you'll have something you'll like more that still didn't break the bank overall...that being said, NEVER buy a used X5 without getting a buyer's inspection first at the BMW dealership.

Wow, buddy ! You need to do some research on the meaning of " displacement " ! I can only imagine how some people will look at you when you try to sell them a car, telling them the same nonsense you're trying to tell us here. Do the measurement of the displacement you're talking about..the visualize how tiny it is..and then compare that to the engine and it's size. You will get the joke once you do that, and I will leave it up to you to do the research of this subject yourself

@everycarSeattle
@everycarSeattle 5 жыл бұрын
I do, but in it's simplest terms dumping the piston in a tub of water way back when is why the term "displacement" was used as opposed to something else...having an Infiniti race car that was both bored and stroked to go from 3.5 liters to almost 4 liters didn't mean I got a bigger engine, it just meant that there was an increase in "swept" area...it's just not a concept everyone fully understands.
@internetexpert8153
@internetexpert8153 5 жыл бұрын
@@everycarSeattle displacement is measured by the Internal size of the cylinder...
@everycarSeattle
@everycarSeattle 5 жыл бұрын
Not quite...it's the size of the piston head multiplied times the amount of travel up and down in the cylinder chamber...boring a cylinder makes the cylinder bigger which increases displacement but also you can make the piston travel further up and down inside of the existing cylinder chamber which also increases displacement by increasing the stroke....technically the bore multiplied by the stroke equals displacement....but it's easier to say how much water is displaced by throwing the thing into the tub.
