Great DTS for someone Anthony! My 2010 DTS is still going strong at 202k miles - now oil leak free. The bench seat is more comfortable especially the way the center armrest is situated. I've owned both DTS seat setups so I know... Happy Holidays to you and Papa Bear!

I think the hook you found in the glove box is to hook a purse to the seat using the headrest post or it goes directly on seat and held down with the headrest.

My friend has a 2008 total sleeper car he has a single turbo kit running 8lbs the head bolts are far more robust he put 20k miles on it with the turbo 0 issues with the head gasket , it’s a animal chirps into 2nd gear with traction off

Best of luck on your diet Anthony. If you’re not already doing it consider doing keto. It’s the sugar and carbs that keep us perpetually hungry and trigger overeating. I’ve been doing it for the past 2.5 years and love it. The first month is admittedly rough but if you can stick with it your body will adjust and the longer durations of feeling full will help you lose weight. Best of luck.

My wife X . Still drives her 09 platinum DTS white w over 215000 miles. She won’t let it go .. 😮. Not many major issues norm wear items. The light on the trunks always crack n. Break. 🤷🏻 I had a 08sts v8. Awesome. 15 ATS another good car.

I have a 2007 DTS midnight blue 40K miles garage kept grocery getter. Has the column gear shift too. Mine is perfect and I will never get rid off it as long as I am alive - it is such a nice car, rides nice and love the V8 northstar. Its no Brougham, but it had its own nice qualities. Cadillac made a huge mistake when they discontinued this car. They offer nothing of interest brand new now. So sad. . . .

Those DTS are not my style everyday driver. But I owned ATS & ATS these are incredible rides powerful enough to get up n. Go. I’m not F w d fan but they go well in the snow … long ride is nice. Been on a few long rides. Can’t go wrong w it.

What a beautiful car! At 6:25 & on every wheel I noticed my biggest pet peeve on pristine cars. Look in past the center part of the wheel. You can see very rusty disc brake rotors. They need to be cleaned up, sanded or Scotch Brite™ padded & painted with two coats aluminum paint. I know what I'm talking about since I've been to countless Car Shows over the past 40 years. Most people overlook this & it's right there! Looking at so much rust doesn't go with such a pristine car.

A friend had an 06 when I had my 04 TC. He thought my 4.6 had stronger acceleration and I thought his 4.6 had better acceleration! Same thing with the ride. But one thing we could agree on: the Caddy had better headlamps than the Townie!

I think those front assist monitors are because about half of the original owners of 00-05 models broke their front bumpers they were extremely fragile and once that grille was broken the bottom would sag drag the ground and break off one end or the other on a pothole or driveway apron and the cover was not repairable. And it was an expensive bumper cover for the time and it was tough to prep.

I Jaye the north star motors in them.pple say they fix the problem. But they didn't fix it.ive seem all have the same issue. And end up in junk yards. Idk they put aluminum heads on for.if they didn't do that.all these caddilacs would been bullet proof cars.but I almost think they done it on purpose.

Hope you can find a mint '95-'02 Continental. I'd take one of those before this DTS. Speaking of this DTS... I don't consider these to be "standard of the world" as Cadillac once referred to itself. This is still a decent car inside. The exterior is super frumpy, and FWD is just the wrong configuration for such a large car. That said, these cruise really nice on lengthy highway drives.

Am i the only one who hates the wheel arch stick on chrome? It never looks right IMO. Don't get me wrong I have 3 1960s cars and love chrome, but if you look at the way these follow part of the wheel arch it doesn't look right. Same with these stick ons for the Mark Vllls and other cars.

Northstar is a great motor as long as they are maintained, but this goes for any older car. I have a 05 with 40k miles and a 07 with 115k miles with no issues, even my 98 I had years ago had no issues. Super smooth and powerful
