Bought my friend's Hyper. It's fun. Way more fun than my GSXR600. It's all bottom end and really quick off the line. Total different world compared to my 600cc supersportbikes.

Good video! brief, clear, to the point, good mount position for the camera, makes the ride exciting, no stupid music.

Thanks a lot dude! I'm so excited. I miss my gixxer though. This has absolutely no top end. LOL. Engine gets weak at 8k RPM. It's all bottom end.

LOL thanks dude. It was mint when I bought it. Now it's beat up and needs a lot of maintenance and replace broken cosmetics.

Nice vid. You happen to remember where you got the aftermarket seat? I’d like to get that one for mine.

Im getting this Bike!! I mean just look at it people! I know some of Ducatis bikes have problems but honestly at the end of the day,There Bikes are Comfortable and High quality!!! Now there racing bikes,the Panigalli Series of Bikes, are not really comfortable when riding on the streets! But when you pu them on a track, They are straight Beasts out there!!!!

Mine leaked oil from the top engine bolt. Other than that, there were no issues. Rode it for 16k miles. 32k miles on the ODO. Awesome bike for canyons and streets. I never took it to a track day though but I'm sure it would be just as fun.

hey bro any problems with this bike ? I'm planning to get a used one this weekend 08 hypermotard non s .. I'm not pretty sure how to check ducati bikes..
@Soysaucemoto8 жыл бұрын
+aronjames pineda It leaked oil on the top of the case. The forks leaked too but that was from too many power wheelies and hard landings. LOL. It was a fun bike. Look for oil caked on the engine fins. It's a common problem and robs power. But it has 80lb ft torque which is a crap load for a 390lb bike. Fun AF. The clutch is hydraulic so it has a tough pull vs cable clutch, but that's normal. Goodluck dude.

Thanks.. What about the maintenance is it true it cost a lot for the valve adjustment every 7k
@Soysaucemoto8 жыл бұрын
+aronjames pineda Yah. 7500 mile intervals. I was quoted $750 from Ducati Westlake but that included belts too. It's not that much more than a Japanese supersport.

With the open clutch would your pants get stuck?
@Soysaucemoto9 жыл бұрын
No. The bottom of the pants are above the clutch cover so it doesn't get caught. If you have Instagram follow me on Instagram for pictures of me riding with jeans.

hey bro just got my hypermotard 1100. does your have a starting problem?
@Soysaucemoto8 жыл бұрын
+aronjames pineda Ya. It had issues starting at about 25k miles. I think it was the valves but I just opened the throttle a little bit to help it warm up. Once it warmed up, it ran like a champ. I replaced the battery at 20k mikes. I bought it with 16k miles. I also replaced the spark plugs per OEM standards. Platinum wasn't worth it from what I read. The starter and stator were in good condition.
@KFLY678 жыл бұрын
Mine has a cold start problem, it takes a while for it to fire and yes the throttle helps holding 1/4 throttle or twisting it while its starting.

is that true that all hypermotards come already equipped with slipper clutch from the factory ?
@Soysaucemoto7 жыл бұрын
The 2008 and 2009 don't have slipper clutches. Maybe the Hypermotard 1100 Evo does. I don't know.

dont this bike has a lot of problems? i have a ducati monster 821 hasnt really gave me that much other than the throttle control unit.

It leaked oil on the top of the case. That's about it. It's gone now. Rode it to 31k miles before I totalled it in the canyons about 2 years ago. I do want another one again but the 1100cc motor is discontinued which means expensive replacement parts, so probably not. Even the fork seals were $$$ to replace after I busted them on wheelies. Thanks for watching. Ride on dude.

Was definitely looking to purchasing one. This guy is selling 08 10k miles for $3,000.00. but after watching vids and reading review it's going to be a hard pass. Sounds like maintaining bike is a Hassel and 5 of the vids I've seen including yours the bike sounds like a box of nuts being shaken

LOL. All good dude. I hope you find a motorcycle that calls your name! Thanks for commenting.
