I clicked on your video to ask about the comfort level. And you answered that within minutes. The comparison to the sporty Cadillac sold me. Now I really want one!

I want another one so bad. They’re so hard to find and they’re super expensive. I’ll get one soon though. 💪

Your presentation was dead on. I just bought a 2013. I also have a 2008 GSXR 750. Definitely could not pass up on the opportunity because they don’t make them anymore. Bike is all that. I plan to replace the foot pegs with wider ones like yours. Also get some kind of windscreen. Those two things become significant on longer highway drives. I drove mine 60 miles after purchasing it and I was beat up by the wind. The round pegs become uncomfortable too. Otherwise truly a badass bike. I will be alternating between riding the GSXR and V Rod on any sunny day to work. Nice video

I just bought an '09 this past April with 6142 miles on it. Love the looks, stance and the smooth power band. It's a keeper.

Just be mindful of those tight turns. You'll need lots of countersteer to get the bike over and into the turn. Once there, it's pretty docile. Really work on your low-speed maneuvers and do NOT use your front brake in a low-speed turn. Those dual Brembos will put the bike down in a millisecond.

You should totally review a Triumph Thunderbird 1600/1700 if you come across one. I just bought one and definitely best bike after owning a Honda CBR250, Honda CBR 1000rr Repsol, Yamaha R6, and Harley Sportster 1250

The Vrod came out in 2002 to 20017 the 1130 cc was from 2002 to 2006 after 2007 to 2017 was 1250. Exception is the CVO. They had 1250 from the time they stared doing a CVO 2004 and on. The reason the bike is not choppy in the Acceleration is because the low gears weren’t heavy so that u can get that smooth acceleration oh and buy the way the word is acceleration not excelaration

If you want the FACTS on the VROD there’s a video on YT about why/how it was conceived by a collaboration between Porsche Engineering, HD & the “Man” Willie “G” Davidson to accomplish the “Düsseldorf 500” great info & history, most just spewing wrong regurgitated info on YT & Social media.

Excellent review. Thought the 09 had a 5 gallon tank though, not sure. Love all the detailed info you give during the review. Good job.

All the wide frame V-Rods (to accommodate the wider rear tire) had 5 gallon fuel tanks. I had a black and silver 03 and absolutely loved it. V-Rods are not touring bikes. They were meant to take out on the weekend and ridden hard for 100 miles. The early narrow frame V-Rods had 3.5 gal. fuel tanks and 100 to 120 miles were all you were going to get.
