Mary Draper Ingles and Wm. Ingles were my 5th great grand parents, by dna. Sometimes people don't mention stuff that is too painful for them. Take my grandma, she waited until I was in the 11th grade before she every told me that her older sister was a twin. I told her I didn't know this, how come I was never told, she said Guess because it was to painful. I asked her sister what was her twin's name and she said Alase Young. I didn't asked much about it, but I did asked what happen to her and my gma told me she died young, and her mom and her family just didn't hardly talk about it. What I can gather from cencus was she was around 2 when she might have died. She was listed in the 1900's in Arkansas Census as being 2 and being born on Indian Territory in Oklahoma. My mom and my gma, both said my great gma was Cherokee, but they messed up on the 1900 Census by leaving her twin Mamie Young off, and in 1910 they messed up again by just saying Mamie born in Oklahoma, they put my gma down twice. One at 4 years old, which Madolene was, then they put Madge 2, which Madge was my gma's nickname, and they completely left off their brother Owen age 2. So you see somethings are not mention just bc they are too painful for them.
