The way these 63's pick up speed and sound is insane and still feels soo comfortable when driven in a normal way. I love these cars, the V12 motors are a totally different story they are nuts :D

they didn't mention it has the performance package that is a 9k dollar option which has a posi rear end and bigger brakes and different alloy wheels. You can identify the package by the special steering wheels that has a metal triangle on the bottom

What can I say, SL63 is stunning and gorgeous. Plus Haley and Leyton look lovely as always! Great car review too. I have a little request, which I would love to see Haley and Leyton wear is leather driving gloves. Simply because you can't drive beautiful cars without driving gloves. It's a must. what they don't say and believe me it's a big big problem is that cars made before 2011 with this engine the m156 has a known head bolt issue. They use a bolt that can only used once but in this case the bolt breaks which then allows water to go into either the exhaust or into the combustion chamber. you will first notice a low coolant light and then again after a month you will notice it again. the more it progresses you will be adding water every week then everyday until the motor blows up or you get it fixed.

It's not expensive if caught early and many owners did. Given the demand for SL's, a rare, pristine example like this 63 with the P30 AMG Performance Package more than makes up for it.

Air Scarf for us Europeans. We buy loads cabs. Especially UK. We live in filthy weather. When it’s sunny and 5c or what be 30-40f early spring we have roof down and use heaters on max at feet and air scarf necks. We genuinely need the air scarf. We hardly get over 70 even in summer

All good stuff...but please learn to feed the wheel and not cross hands and arms...seriously dangerous under acceleration when turning fast corners., You will get torque steer effect and the wheel will spin from your hands! Holding the wheel at quarter to three and not releasing your grip for quite a lot of lock is fine...just look atF1 hand positions, but you’re driving road cars, not race/track cars here!
