Brilliant video mate! Glad you went to Milton Keynes, I love their lorries! Won't see them for much longer though as they'll be going in September since the contract is moving to Suez. Hopefully they buy good trucks too though. Funnily enough this truck is the exact same one I filmed a few years ago 😂 Keep it up mate 👍

No Way! Your in like the worst location for going out to other councils there are almost none with good trucks. I hope Suez are back to Faun as they liked Dennis before they changed owners. I'm keeping an eye on 2 councils with partnerships with Suez to see what they get. I will probably do a post if it is good.

@@BinandChill All the trucks near me are bog standard Dennis with OmniDEL so it does get quite boring sometimes. I think the new lorries will be Econics with Variopress/Selectapress with Rotaries of some kind as that's what Suez's recent purchases have been, hopefully they'll be in the same colour scheme as the current trucks but with Suez instead of Serco. I'd be surprised if they do switch to Dennis since they've had merc that've lasted them all these years. Their most recent purchases have been Dennis though which is a bit worrying but hopefully that's just a Serco thing 👍

The om906 and allison md3060 combo sounds great especially those straight cut gear screaming Also when I visited tonbridge they have 2023 elite 6 d8k allison md3000p In dartford there is 65 plate allison md3000 om936 econics, with the oddball mercedes powershift 8 speed gearbox one ithink its got that box as no loud allison screaming as well as an early elite 6 with d7e engine rather than d8k

Nice video! I was quite surprised when you said they put food caddy waste Into the garden waste as I assumed the new rules of every council needing to collect a caddy meant they had to keep it separate, would be great if you got some footage of it as it sounds really interesting.

Now they make the N4 which has a deeper hopper of 3 cubic meters which is deep .I work on a fleet of Fauns VP2 on Mercedes econic 6x2 rear steers I’m a loader /spare driver At Wiltshire
