I have an 09 Mini S with 76000 miles. Gorgeous paint and interior. Lots of unexpected little options. I had to have $1500 worth of engine work on it when I got it 2 years ago. Now I just noticed 2 little oil spots on the garage floor. Oil tank was full, but I need to get that checked out. Love that little car! It has features that were way ahead of it's time. A friend told me this model was problematic. I find gas mileage to he very disappointing (16-17 mph). Any comment? Please, if there's anything I need to know, let me know. I'm retired and don't drive much. But I really love this car. Thank you!

its funny that some people keep referring to the mini cooper s as a cheap car.. in fact it is nothing but a cheap car.. I mean if you compare it to a ferrari of course it is cheaper, but for a mini car it is damn expensive. in most countries you even have to pay premium/luxury tax if you own one of these..
