I got mine a few months back and am loving every minute of it, The tranny and non existant lag make this car run with higher hp cars from my personal experience. Thank you Mistu ; )

I use paddles frequently. If you don't drag race by "dropping the hammer" all the time and do your required services on the transmission, it will last longer than 90k.

@Nagidar23 Yeah but the tuned up GTS suspension makes it an uptuned GTS, not a detuned EVO as people like to say. What makes the EVO an EVO is the chassis. The 4b11 maybe the same as the EVO core, but all the pipings are completely different. You can't just bolt on even an EVO intercooler and the list of what you need to stick an EVO engine is pretty dang long. The ralliart and GTS have 2 antiroll bars actually. 21/20 for GTS, 22/20 for RA. EVO is 25/23.

well the twin-clutch goes bad after 90,000 but if you use the auto it wont effect the twin-clutch....

The Evo is about 65k stock, not 35k.

This 2009 Ralliart is quicker than the 2014 Subaru WRX which uses the new smaller 2.0.....big step backward for Subaru.

Not everything is about 0-60 times. The WRX has 6 gears instead of 5 for many reasons; one of them is to achieve a higher top speed. I own a Ralliart and once you starting modding your car, it doesn't even matter what they make stock for stock.

Jason did you think everything is about 0-60? It isnt, but I think it is funny that the new Subie WRX is now slower than the Old Ralliart that hasnt seen an update in years.

I love the Ralliart and after discounts it can be had for about 25k with Nav and backupcamera. 0-60 5.4 seconds and not as punishing at an EVO. Comfier ride! Almost as quick.

This video is false. The ralliart is more like the GTS then the evo. Ralliart doesn't have the EVO chassis or suspension...nor the same turbo pipings. It's a pumped up GTS...not a tuned down EVO. Still a fun car...but if you want or need an EVO performace, get an EVO. If you can't afford a new one, get one used for the cost for one of these. The main advantage of the ralliart is that it is MUCH more livable with...the EVO is fun but has pretty much zero practicallity.

@ColdNapalm42 I would say its more in the middle of BOTH, it has a Ralliart tuned GTS suspension, Twin Piston Caliper Brakes (The Evo has Quad Piston Caliper), but the inards of the Ralliart are more Evo than GTS, the EXACT same 4b11 Engine as the Evo, right down to the Compression Ratio, with a smaller single scroll TC(Evo has a Twin Scroll) , has the Evo IX AWD system, it has an Anti-Roll bar, (The Evo has 2 Anti-Roll bars), it literally is the middle child.

Bro, if you're going to use the internet, be little more wise. The transmission operates from electronic regulated clutches. Driving it in manual or automatic have no difference. And mine has gone 50k miles in a year with no issues at all.

@ColdNapalm42 No, the 4b11 engine is EXACTLY the same in the Evo and Ralliart, right down to the cams, this is a fact, already proven by multiple magazines and performance shops.

I don't imagine how magnesium would suddenly boil, and the paddles have never felt hot to the touch. I also never had a burning smell coming from the hood even after driving fast. No track experience however. Still... not sure if the boil issue is just silly or if I don't understand what boils exactly. The paddles themselves do not, I assure you.

I have this car, for $500 you can get Evo X power, the down side of this car is the craptastic tires, they suck badly, when Car and Driver (Or was it Edmunds?) put the same tires on the Ralliart that were on the 2009 WRX, (RE050) it tied / beat the WRX overall.

I love the face of the new evo, i just dont like the big ass rear quarter panel, and the back >.< my god why does it look like a wall that is caving in.... and it looks like the rear is sticking up too far, but i love the nose, looks mean as hell, i hope the refine this evo some more, because its freggin sexy.

Never used it on the track. Frankly if you want to do some serious track, I recommend forking the extra money over and buy the EVO. But if you were stuck with a Ralliart, I don't understand how the paddles would boil... sounds kinda fishy. Beware of rumours that start from whiny idiots who don't know how to take care of their machines.
