2009 was the first year I attended the US OPEN and I was a huge Jason Mannino fan. In exchange for court side viewing my buddy Will C and I volunteered as ushers and gophers (well worth it.) My job at the beginning of this match was checking attendee badges and as I was working on the floor Will walked over to tell me he had overheard Kane say to someone - “...I can handle Jason...” - My initial reaction was disbelief that Kane would say that or that anyone would have that much confidence... then I stood 10 feet from the glass and watched Kane do this to Jason .... so yeah...he probably did actually say that. 😮

Big fan of Jason myself. Got to meet him in person Down in Houston during the Nationals. Good guy. I was suprised he was shorter than me. I am 5'6.
