200Amps Enough For A Campervan? LiTime 12V 200Ah LiFePO4 Lithium Battery

I've just fitted a 230ah Fogstar drift, around the same price as yours but it comes Bluetooth enabled with onboard bms, so there is no need for a shunt. It also has onboard heating which will automatically heat the cells up to 5°c before charging. Fogstar appear to underestimate their battery capacity, monitoring shows mine to be 238.7ah! I haven't really pushes it yet but one night in the lakes, using lights, phone charging and the fridge on constantly used a whole 3% of capacity! If you were ever thinking of upgrading again, I highly recommend Fogstar!

I ran my all electric van on all 200ah lifepo4 for 4 years. Its normally just enough if you have some solar panels, we had 525w. Unfortunately, a day or two with no sun and no alternator charging would require using the generator on occasion to keep topped up. I just recently upgraded to 460Ah and 700W solar. I hope to leave the generator at home from now on.

I have 300ah sealed lead acid batteries and it's a perfect match with my 500w of solar panels. The issue with them is that you can only use 150ah because otherwise you will damage the batteries. With the 200ah LiFePO4 batteries you can use 90% of the amp hours and the battery life is like 100 years. It's definitely better than what I have.

Yep, also the weight of lead acid is twice as much as lithium

Te salut! Apreciez foarte mult ceea ce ai facut cu conversia. Vreau sa comand un LiTime de 200 sau 230Ah. Intrebarea mea este: Crezi ca duce prin invertorul meu de 3500w / 7000w ,un aparat de cafea cu capsule de 1300w si microunde sau plita inducție de 700w ? Evident nu in acelasi timp. Nu sunt hotarat daca sa pun si panouri sau sa merg doar pe dc-dc de la alternator. Merci! Mult succes!

Din bateria prezentata aici nu poti trage mai mult de 1300W. Atentie la cifre :) LiTime au alte baterii din care poti trage mai mult. Eu sugerez un panou de minim 175W (atat am eu si daca stau la soare cat de cat, pot sta 2 luni off)nu am consumatori mari. Un dcdc cu mppt am de la Renogy. Isi face treaba minunat de 3 ani. Ma poti urmari pe Pierduti In Vest. Acolo am prezentat toată instalatia electrica

@@Raul689 Te salut si Multumesc pentru raspunsul tau. Te urmaresc deja de prin decembrie pe canalul “pierduti in vest” :) Dc-Dc charger-ul de la alternator cam in cat timp incarca bateria atunci cand sunteti in mers?
