Trucker here. It's either a light, low loaded (to keep the center of gravity even through trailer) or its an empty and it's really windy. Driving with a crooked trailer is normal in wind. That, however, yeah, he called dispatch and called it a day after a quick pants change..

those aren't black out curtains, they're roller shutters. they're pretty much the standard in all of europe. they block out the light because no one needs to be waking up at like 5:30 when the sun is rising. also, they have non full closure mode. there's little holes in between each slab of plastic, if you roll down the shutter until it reaches the bottom but then stop it, light will come in through those holes, so you can still have that whole waking up with natural light thing. we also keep them like that during the summer so that air comes into the house to cool it down without the sun hitting the window, which would warm up the room

Thats only the case for expensive items. Stuff like that wouldnt have an alarm trigger in the bar code. I know because I get groceries a lot, and there are plenty of times where I scan one item multiple times, ifI got more than one of them, instead of scanning eadh one individually. And no alarm ever goes off.

@@NotTheDragon837 each product has the same barcode for all items of the same product. so that kinder egg has the same barcode as the other kinder eggs in that box. so if you buy 6 kinder eggs, the cashier doesn't need to scan all 6 of them, they can just scan one and then multiply by 6 on the register. if you're on self checkout, you can try to do that but the machines do start telling you to place the item on the scale pad, but i think you can manually change it on the screen. so if you walk out with 6 kinder eggs and scanned one 6 times, the system records that as 6 eggs, so it won't set off any alarms. but if you scanned 5 and are taking 6, the alarm might go off. but that will depend if the alarm can detect it or not. some alarms are more sensitive than others

@@Ray_Vun I doubt thats the case. Too many processes that have to happen quickly. I know we got some fast technology, but moving past scanners in real time, while it A. Scans every single barcode that passes. B. Detects if each barcode has been scanned. C. Detects if one Barcode was scanned multiple times. Then counts the amount that haven't been scanned to see if it matches All in the second it takes to pass the scanner/alarm. It just seems unrealistic. I don't work Retail, so maybe I'm dumb. But there seems like there would also ways to exploit that somehow. Along with so many potential flaws and false triggers that would get people in trouble for no reason. What happens when a not scanned barcode hits the scanner before the scanned one? That would trigger a false alarm over a kinder egg.
