200oz Beef Shabu-Shabu Hot Pot Challenge w/ Raina in Taipei, Taiwan!!

A&Z #789 - Atlas and Raina Huang vs the 200oz Beef Shabu-Shabu Hot Pot Challenge at 團緣涮涮屋 內湖店 in Taipei, Taiwan. Back in mid-October 2019, my younger sister Shelley and I flew to Seoul, South Korea to kick-off a 3-country Asia trip, and then we headed to Hanoi, Vietnam. Finally, we visited Taipei, Taiwan where I attempted 4 delicious food challenges. For event #1, we traveled to 團緣涮涮屋 內湖店 in Taipei, Taiwan and met up with my friend Raina Huang (2 of the next 3 videos feature her). There, we both took on the 200oz Beef Shabu-Shabu Hot Pot Challenge which was easily one of my top 5 favorite food challenges, simply based on taste and experience. We had 1 full hour to finish two 100oz plates of raw beef shabu-shabu along with 2 buckets of raw vegetables and 2 bricks of noodles. 200oz Beef Shabu-Shabu Hot Pot Challenge in Taipei, Taiwan:
This food challenge hosted by 團緣涮涮屋 內湖店 in Taipei, Taiwan is meant for a team of 4 people, but can be attempted by teams of 2 or 3 if desired. There are 2 giant 100oz plates of raw beef shabu-shabu along with 2 buckets of healthy vegetables and 2 bricks of noodles. Teams have 1 full hour to cook and eat everything served. If you are lucky, they may even give you milk teas to wash everything down. Even if there are fewer than 4 people, you are still allowed to use all 4 hot pots on your table. This challenge is DELICIOUS and you must try hot pot if you haven't before. This was my first time hearing about it!! Winners who finish within the 1 hour time limit win the 4,444 NT (Taiwanese money) meal free (~$145 USD). Thanks to 團緣涮涮屋 內湖店 for the amazing food and wonderful hospitality while we were there!!

Holy Moly welcome to Taiwan! I'm in Yilan. You must see the east coast before you leave the country. Go to Hualian, it's so beautiful! Go to Jiaoxi and enjoy the hot springs. You can eat and the fish can eat your toes. Go to the geological park and see the Queen's Head Rock, it's near Taipei. Make sure to have fun and enjoy the wonderful shy friendly local people.
