I traded the 2010 for the 2012 for the improved throttle response, upgraded suspension, improved ECU, new color shceme, new tail, heated grips, new instrument cluster. Check out the video of my new 2012 with Brock's Performance exhaust.

I ordered the base HP4 instead of the competition edition. I already own all of the carbon fiber parts, levers and rear sets. I prefer my carbon fiber wheels over the anodized blue wheels. I also prefer my Brock’s Performance exhaust over the long Akrapovic exhaust with the built in catalytic converter. I’m selling the HP4’s Akra exhaust once I get the bike 

Awesome!! Thanks!!... Yeah, I was going to hold off for the HP4 but the large difference in price tag to get things I will never actually use (other than to brag about), I just couldnt justify it... I want to get a Triumph 675 to add to the stable just for the sound!! Your bike looks mint BTW... mine will be pretty much identical minus the CF front fender and middle tank guard, i prefer the white personally. Enjoy the launch control and DDC on that HP4, and those sweet, sweet blue rims!!

Yes, 100% of my carbon fiber parts from the 2010 transferred onto my 2012 S1000RR. All of the parts will be transferred onto my 2013 HP4 :-)

LOL! I wash it after every ride. This helps keep the bug guts from penetrating the white paint on the front fairing :-)

you ether have never ridden the 2010 or you have some serious OCD.. that thing is perfectly clean. those are the best looking sport bikes IMO. good taste sir

How much of a trade in did you get on the 2010? I just bought the red/white/blue model yesterday, I have to wait 3 weeks for the connecting rod problem, so the dealership sold me the painted version at 1000$ discount!, so I got the painted version for free! I am so happy about that but sad I have to wait a month to ride

Hi ibsabur... I am just buying come Carbon fiber for my 2012 motorsport... can you tell me if all the Carbon bits you swapped over from the 2010 to the 2012, was there any fitment issues with the lower fairing change in 2012? Thanks!!
