I got a question so my O2 sensor is not bad, but the wiring got melted on the car side by chance how do we go about looking that up and how to rewire it with the new female and can you give me some answers? Maybe you help me out here please I don’t even know how many wires is on it. I don’t know how many you know. I just know that I have a female in and it has a bunch of wires to it and it goes to the car.

Most O2 sensors are 4 wire and color coded

@@repair_tech_brian5388 thank you very much. I just wanted to make sure they cut color coated because I can’t see any wire on that. It’s so melted. It’s like melted to nothing pretty much it just like a piece of wire. I’m surprised the car is even running. Just put it that way because of that melted wire.

So that O2 sensor connected to the exhaust manifold is bank 1 ?
@kintarogold148310 ай бұрын
@@juggernaut8647the bank refers to the “section” of sensors, and the sensor number refers to which one in that bank, generally in sequential order as they go down the exhaust. There’s only one bank on these engines, so bank 1 sensor 2 would be the sensor AFTER the catalytic converter. The sensor that goes directly into the exhaust manifold is bank 1 sensor 1.

Should have one on the 2016. You have the same engine correct?
@Clapster8 ай бұрын
From my understanding it should be the same model from 2010-2017

@@repair_tech_brian5388 Is that 2006 a typo since they said 2016? I'm a big confused on that. I need to replace mine and I'm trying to make sure I have accurate information.
