Great video. Thinking of attempting this in the next few weeks. Not excited about it. I believe the wheel bearings are the issue on at least one side. I’m getting jitters in the steering wheel even at very slow speeds. Tires are relatively new, rims are round, haven’t hit any big bumps in a long time but a month or two ago I started getting jitters. When I’m going less than 5mph with the windows open, I can hear a screech intermittently which is part of why I believe a bearing may have failed. Does any of what I’m saying sound about right or what you were experiencing? How long did the bearing replacement take you from start to finish? Thinking of proactively replacing the CV boots while I’m at it but I’ve never done that before on a car.

Hey thanks for watching and this car was getting a loud grinding noise and feel. just make sure that the loud screech you're hearing is not from your brakes or the brake dust shield hitting against the rotor. I have personally never heard a screech from a bad wheel bearing I've always heard a grinding noise that was more noticeable during higher speeds. The job took me around 3hrs since i was recording. Best of luck to ya.

My hero, going to attempt this with none of the extractor tools but a vice and a dream, any advice?

@@patricksteele7336 you should be good it depends on how much rust build it has. I’ve done it a couple times like that with my dad at his house. I don’t have a bench or a vice here so that’s why I bought this tool.
