Thank you this is what I needed to know. My gear is spring loaded ( yours must be also) it was a lot harder to reset (yours looked so easy) but, we got it. 2008 Chrysler Town and Country.

Once it’s all hooked up just press on the E-brake pedal and release… it’s got an automatic adjustment!

You need one more person pulling the cable as you press on it, if not check the cables! Or buy a new E-Brake assembly, But $1500 is crazy

You know you have a crappy vehicle, when you have to take the friggin rim off just to reset the parking brake. I've driven every vehicle on the planet. Dodge is the only make that has this issue along with Chrysler.
