2010 Ford Pk ranger walkthrough

G’day legends!
Jackson here from Mud, Mates and Mayhem.
Here we have my 2010 pk Ford Ranger which has proven to be a bit of a head turner. Below I have listed a detailed overview of the car.
I’ve probably missed a few things in the video but they should be covered in the list.

IPF 900X driving lights on the front and IPF 800 Extremes with a HID upgrade on the roof.

4 inch sky jacker diff drop kit
Opposite lock adjustable front shocks and tough dog 41 mm foam cell shocks in the rear
Old man emu torsion bars
Torsion bar relocation plates
Snake racing leaf springs 300kg
Snake racing 2inch shackles
Snake racing 2 inch lift blocks
ARB rear air locker

Custom built storage system made from carpeted ply
Custom built over head console
Carpeted marine ply shelving in the canopy
Engel 40l fridge on an MSA drop slide
ARB sidewinder dual battery monitor

Hey Jackson. Got the same model Ranger.but it is a super cab with suicide doors. Where did you get the overhead console - Brand?. Also how did you remove the dash switch blanks to replace with the rocker switches? Cheers

How did you manage to get a 4 inch lift? I have done tonnes of research and 2 inch seems to be max

It was lifted by an engineering mob in Sydney. They engineered it including a lane change test. it was done back in 2012. I think that this place has closed now though

Hey dude, I got the same model, 2010 PK ranger, but I can't find a roof rack anywhere, ARB or Rhino don't do a roof rack platform, do you know where I can get one like yours?? 👌

Hi mate you might need to find some feet that fit into the tracks in the roof for the rack that you want

what have you done with the center bearing on the tailshaft ,mine was lifted 2" and created a vibration.

Hi mate. I put larger bolts through and spaced it with a spacer kit. It still vibrates though

@@Noskcaj95 yeah, after ruining a tailshaft uni joint I put a spacer kit in it but think I will have to get a shim kit to alter the diff angle by a couple of degrees. I regret the trouble my lift kit has caused me on an otherwise completely trouble free 13 years of owning the ranger

ROSS private they are a really great car and mine has only just started to show some little signs of letting me down. Nothing that can’t be fixed pretty easily though

@@rossprivate5456 i have the bt50 equivalent. I had spacers machined up for the centre bearing drop and removed a steel plate spacer from the rear gearbox mount. All good no shudders

Roy Matthews as long as they are road tested and engineered I think they are fine. Mine are both.

Hey mate really interested in the suspension you have, done a shit load of research but apparently not possible to go more then 2 inch unless you want to go body but I don’t ! Could you flick me a message ? On face book ?

Sorry but looks gross with 4 inch lift on them tyres
