I have a '10 EX , currently have 194k miles and she still runs like the day i bought her, only problems i've had is a Power Steering leak and a VTEC solenoid leak but other than that these cars do not die! Definitely a great first car!

08 ex sedan here, same for the power steering leak, ive heard its from turning the wheel to full lock, the car doesnt like that. My ac charge leaks out after a year, gotta fix that. Have you ever done a transmission fluid change on your car?

Oh my goodness. I love this little car! I bought this exact little gem, same color, from a friend because they have all new vehicles and didn’t need it. Was going to use it to teach my daughter to learn how to drive on, but she prefers my 2007 Honda accord, which still runs great. So now the civic is my main driver. Great car.

Great video. I just purchased the same recently. I drive commute to work, 86 to 92 miles, one way. Getting 34 mpg or more. I have put some real winter tiers on it, and it gets me to work in some really bad driving conditions, here in Minnesota! If you're into music, it is a very good sound system. Windy days are a challenge, as is getting passed on the freeway. However, it's a light weight car, so expect it. It had 75,000 miles on it when purchased. I had a new battery installed when it got -20 F. It wouldn't crank over, as it had the original battery. So yes, buy one for your daughter, or your family, or yourself. Check the rubber water seals around the windows, mine are terrible, need replacements. The headlights are really dim on low. Going to replace them with brighter bulbs, give the plastic covers a treatment would help. The divers side sun visor is broken, won't stay up, in position.

I just got one of these. Same year too. I really like it so far. It's pretty much everything you said it is. It's a cute little car for what it is. While it may not be best in horsepower it is still very zippy taking off. More sport compared to the Camry I used to drive.

One of the best looking and reliable car. I had one 2008 LX in 2016 imported from USA (I'm from Honduras) with 62k miles and had it for 6 years and I take advantage of it 100%. The only issue I had was the Starting Motor (twice). I sold it last year with 127k miles and still runs ❤. Now I have a Crv 12 EX. From a Honda to another Honda ❤👌

@@carloslobo1396 hey mi bro!! Como primer carro belleza para que, tanto como adentro y el exterior. El consumo con pie moderado me hacia los 34kms por galón que dice en la ficha técnica y en algunos casos me hace hasta 38kms por Galón. Recorda que lo correcto es no dejar que llegue el combustible hasta la reserva porque se arruina con el tiempo la bomba. También influye el mantenimiento como ser: aceite del motor que sea full Sintético, filtros de aires originales, bujías, dirección, suspensión, aceite de caja, llantas. Todo ese también es importante para que al final el carro te responda bien y te de buen consumo de combustible.

@@carloslobo1396 no te voy a mentir vi otras opciones antes del Civic, tenía como opción el Lancer pero descartado por la caja CVT que tiene y el Corolla precio alto y demasiado sencillo por adentro, claro los repuestos son algo cómodos pero si uno tiene para darse sus propios gustos hay darle para adelante..

have had my 2011 civic for just about 3 months now as my first car at 16. Bought it at 150k miles for 5.5k with some help from my parents and my saving from working part time. Has ran great so far with zero mechanical issues and great gas milage, just have had small issues such as a blown fuse on one of the windows and replacing the sun visors as the passenger visor wouldn’t stay up. Looking forward to driving my little civic till the wheels fall off

1. I would do a car with a clean title. 2. $6k is a decent amount for a little car. I would look for a car private sale not from a dealer bc you'll get a better price and can talk the price down more. You can use autotrader.com to find some or carguru.com or cars.com etc. Hope this helps
