2010 IC CE - MaxxForce 7 Drive

This was my 2010 CE for awhile. I put about 30,000 miles on it over a year and a half. It was equipped with a MaxxForce 7. The motor in this bus blew when the new driver took it over. He drove it for about a month when it went. It had around 62,000 miles on it. This is typically when the MaxxForce 7 self destructs. The speaker in the dash had stopped working a few days prior, so the turn signal click was not very loud. This video was taken late winter of 2015, probably March or April if I had to guess.

My bus just had a engine replacement. It had the maxxforce 7 but the regeneration system started to mess up and caused it to over dose the Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF) and run into the crank case which contaminated the oil. check my videos out on my bus. The engine replacement was the Cummins ISB 6.7L.

@@nolanbugbee3607 We got a little *too* many DTs here. I prefer the 7, sounds a little quieter, rode an 2011 MFDT powered CE300 when it was brand new, thing is beginning to shit itself. If you're wondering: Its 11-1MB (Handy).

It makes no difference, some other IC Buses with the M-DT are loud too. The 7 just sounds meaner because it's of course a V8 diesel! The DT is a inline 6! But like I said I like the DT alot better. But the 7 doesn't sound too bad to me.

The old 7.3 T444E was louder than absolute hell I rode many buses in my school days and you’ll never forget that sound!

God I hate that bus with a passion, Noise kill switch dun do shit, FM radio missing, But I can tell you one thing about an electronic T444, they almost NEVER break down. Dont make them like they used to. Meanwhile our Maxxshitter DTs (11-1MB, 08-16MB, 07-1MB) are breaking down even more than the VT365 6.0s (05-2MB)
