Alex is not kidding when he says orders are usually shipped out the same day. I placed an order so late in the day that I was anticipating it would be shipped out the next day. It surprised me that my order was shipped out the same day. Amazing! I appreciate Alex keeping us informed of his products. Life is a two way street. I wish Alex continued success in his business so that we can continue to receive informative content.

That's SO good that you said you don't have to keep the flux in the fridge and that you can ignore the "use by date" printed on it! I only need to do SMD soldering occasionally and the short use by date has put me off buying the rather expensive flux, but now that I know I can just ignore it, I can buy some!

A friend of mine had a 2011 20.5" iMac. When the HDD died, he tried to install a new HDD but ripped the screen cable and just gave up and bought a 2019 4K 20.5. His old iMac was never used so I bought it from him for the equivalent of 75 USD... but I also made him pay for the shipping so for around half that amount. I ordered a new screen cable, put in an SSD and now it works like a charm. Still have it and although it can't be updated to the lates MacOS, it doesn't matter to me. I bought a cheap Apple 30" Cinema Display and have connected it to the iMac. 100 USD for both and it's great!

N.B. Nothing to do with your electronic channel but with your comments in the video: Just a precision about your "light" theory that i am sure we can agree on. Harsh light vs Diffused. It's not about being close or far away but it's about the size of the light compared to the subject. By default if you take the same light and move it further, it is going to be "smaller". Closer and it will be "bigger". Your soft box is diffusing your light by "transforming/increasing" the surface of your light source. Best visual example i can describe would be: Take a candle and put it right next to your face. It's not big enough to light up all around your head and will create harsh shadow. Take a light source bigger than your body (shower curtain lit from behind) and put it 6 feet away from you and your head will be surrounded by light and more softer shadow. It has to do with the physic of how light particules travel. Lets not forget that if you move a light source further away and/or increase it's surface, you'll need to increase the power output of the source but that's another topic :)

I’ve had flux from the 80s and it still functions. But speaking of health hazards…I started soldering at the age of 8. Now my brother my have mentioned to me to not breath in the fumes but as a kid who listens. I’m going on 45 years old but so far still feel fine breathing. But it is no joke as I grew up reading about the hazards of the fumes, drew a big “oh poop”.

The reason why you did not see the chime screen is that the user has replaced the GPU. Apple uses a different kind of firmware on their GPU's, even if you swapped the same model with a replacement from a non-apple source.

I am watching this video on a 2010 iMac 27". It's 2.93 GHz Quad-Core i7, with 32 GB of RAM (though I ran it for many years on just 8GB just fine). It is plenty powerful. I even went to the trouble of installing a new GPU so I could update the OS using Open Core (which means of course that, had Apple wanted to, they could have made it work themselves, but chose not to). It's a great machine and does everything I need. (The only reason for me to even have more than say 2-4GB of RAM, is to load musical instrument sample libraries into RAM for music composition, which tend to be in the hundreds or thousands of MBs apiece.)
