We had this same issue with our JK, cost us a bit more that you state to have a dealer fix it... Is yours still shifting well?

When you say turn the shifter all the way clockwise, are you looking at it from the top or bottom?

@@mikehoncho9344 If I remember correctly, it is clockwise from the top, I.E., you put the transmission in low gear. Around the 9:55 mark, I show the lockout position for reinstalling.
