Had a stock 2010 LX570 in, thought I’d do a side by side comparison and overview of my personal 2010 LX570 build. Will work on getting links for all the parts.

Can you even stuff those tires? My +35mm offset wheels with a skinny set of 35’s rub on the fender lip when I stuff them and have them slightly turned. Your tires are an inch wider and have 1.5” more offset. No way can those stuff

For the oil drain, install a Fumoto drain with a nipple and attached a clear tubing to allow the drain to the side. Don't even need to open the skid plate cutout, just flip the valve open and close. Nice build.

I use a electric 20 $ pump from eBay “oil extractor” more than 7 quarts comes out , just take the oil from the top , easier. On my Mercedes I also have the oil filter on top !!

Hi, Have a 2009 LX, did the AHC lift and going to a LT275-65-R20 with spidertrax spacers. I personally like the stock wheel look. Also have descent bumpers coming for the front and the rear. I was wondering if the spring spacers and upper control arm were necessary for a good alignment. In your opinion. Does the front spacer sit on top of the strut assembly? Wouldn't mind a little more lift, but I was worried it would work against the hydraulic shock. Thanks for sharing those sliders, that will be the next big thing. I love the kick out and that you can order them bare steel. I'm doing everything color matched powdercoat.

UCA definitely helps with alignment after sensor lift. I still have not added my spring spacers. The spring spacers will not create more lift, but will take pressure off the AHC.

Thanks for the content . I recently bought a 2016 lx 570 and I’m finding it hard to find anyone local that will work with me on mods, I live in Arkansas and went to our biggest off-road shop and was told I couldn’t do a front spacer for the leveling and I couldn’t put 33s or a sensor lift and would have to do a full on delete and 3 in lift. Is this true and if I did the sensor lift am I in danger of breaking something ? I figure I can do the sensor lift and put a set of Toyo open could try AT 3s on it and be just fine with some minor adjustments to the plastic to avoid rubbing. Any input you could provide would be much appreciated. I also was told if I did a rack I’d have to drop the headliner on the 2016 model for some reason, they said that year they started putting a lock nut on the bolt on the roof rails ?

You can do a sensor lift easily yourself. Pretty easy to fit 33”s on an LX570. Multiple write ups on ih8mud. As for the roof rack, I have heard that the headliner needs to be dropped on certain years. Pretty sure there are write ups on that in the ih8mud forum as well.

Built LX looks great 👍. I am also planning on doing just the AHC sensor lift on my 2010 LX. Just to give it a nicer stance. How does it ride with the AHC lift? Did you max out both front and rear for that stance?

Yes, all 4 maxed out. Ride is good. The height adjustments during driving, 25, 40, 60+ mph are much more noticeable after sensor lift. I have coil spacers to install, may make a difference taking the load off the ahc shocks a bit.

Cool LX build. Do the rock sliders mount up to the frame rails hood and solid on these lx570’s? Because on the LX470’s there is so much AHC gear mounted to the frame rail sides that it’s near impossible to have a solid slider that will actually work offroad on the rocks.

Pls tell me about what seat covers you bought for the factory gray seats? I can’t find just the bottoms in gray, but did find a whole interior kit but that seems like a lot of work and money just to fix the huge holes in my DS bottom. Inspirational rig btw! Pls not lx videos!

I use an upholstery shop in Atlanta for all my recovers. Cut and sew replacement. Times Square Designs.

@@Avalonautogroup taken your answer for granted I have gone ahead and replaced my tires with 275/60/20 duelers h/t, thank you for that. Now the ideal tire pressure is my next question, what would you recommend granting I’m always driving on tarmac in hot weather (a bit heavy on the accelerator too)

@@aalkurdi I’d stay at the factory pressure listed on the door jamb. If E rated maybe a few psi more. I run 40psi on my 10ply 35x12.50x17’s, but tow with it.

Any plans for an after-market front/rear bumper? I've got 2010 also, and getting ready to install some Slee sliders. Bumpers should be next for me, but there aren't many options. The angle of departure is limiting for me. I also removed the door molding on mine since the 2010 isn't drilled. Great build, and thanks for showing!

Rear bumper with swingout is my next step. Mainly for full size spare mounting. The dissent bumpers are my favorite, but haven’t pulled the trigger on anything just yet.

Correct. Sensor lift and SPC UCA. Body mount chop, pinch weld flatten, and a good amount of trimming.

@@jnguyen131000 not really necessary, but to get alignment dialed in it’s recommended. The SPC’s have more adjustments then stock.
