Everytime I need inspiration, everytime I want to see beauty, art, athletic endeavor, music, and presentation combined in one package, I come back to THIS program. One of the best skating performances EVER!! Even after all this time it NEVER fails to bring tears to my eyes!!

Beautiful performance, both technically and artistically. This pair had always been dubbed the No.2 team of China, but they never gave up and they did prove themselves. Opportunties are open to those who are prepared.

I still remember how fast my heart beat and my blood felt like burning when I watched them performed ten years ago. They were my favorites then, even more than Shen/Zhao. Perfect combination of art and sport!

Chinese Wenjing SUI and Cong HAN, Qing Pang and Jian Tong are very strong in technique and choreography athletes! Many new beautiful elements that do not leave the spectator and fans indifferent!

Still I am watching this! The sparks between this couple growing in the later a few years of their career was absolutely astonishing. Beautiful! Iconic!

Memorable performance, those late throws and lifts, Tong tired, gasping for breathe and doing it perfectly anyway, Pang's unique grace in everything she did. Only now we have Sui and Han who have a similar dynamic.

They almost snuck in there and won. So so spectacular. After years of being in the background, they deserved that moment. I thought they were a little underscored in the short program. What a spectacular way to win the long and win the silver

They may not be as perfect as Gordeeva/Grinkov They may not be as elegant as Berezhnaya/Sikharulidze They may not be as powerful as Shen/Zhao They are just like everyone of us - normal, hardworking, and relatable people But even normal people deserve to have highlights once in a lifetime. They dedicate to that impossible dream and get it done. They warm my heart.

GREAT PERFORMANCE AND I WONDERED WHY THEY DIDN'T GET HIGHER MARKS THEN I REALIZED THAT THEY HAD AN ERROR ON THEIR LAST SPIN. IT ONLY GOT LEVEL 1 AS SHE DIDN'T HAVE ENOUGH ROTATION. THEY LOST AT LEAST 1.5 POINTS RIGHT THERE ON THE BASE VALUE.

You forgot the short
@ralphbourgeois58755 жыл бұрын
@@danicaz1163 Their short was fine. It was the same short they did at worlds but scored 4 points lower than they would at worlds which made no sense at all. They still would have been only 3rd in the short with their worlds score, but would have won overall.
@skaterboy-cz9wj5 жыл бұрын
I would have given them gold in Vancouver but their teammates were destined for gold or "touted". If the judges wanted too with pcs they could have put this team first over Shen and Zhou regardless of spin issue or music deduction. It was close enough. They were constantly in that horrible spot 2nd or fourth but accomplished nonetheless.

I recommend this video over the CCTV one, because the Chinese commentator is annoying. For one thing, she became overdramatic when she saw this pair was going to win. For another, she commented that Pang Qing would be too old to compete for the next Olympics (but not Dong Jian of the same age, just because he is a man and supposed to have a longer athletic career). But really who are you to decide? American commentators sound more appreciative of what they were witnessing, real beauty and passion.
