2010 Tahoe 2023 Silverado Front Brakes Upgrade

This applies to the GMT900 platform (2007-2014 Tahoe/Suburban/Yukon/Escalade/Silverado/Sierra/Avalanche), and GMT800 platform from what I read. Front calipers and rotors from 2019-2023 GM full size trucks and SUV's are a direct bolt on upgrade with the use of just a couple washers! Larger diameter rotor and larger pads for more surface friction for better braking performance, and easier maintainence! By far the best bang for the buck when it comes time to replace/upgrade your old brakes.

Finally someone doing this brake upgrade on a tahoe. I'm going to be doing this to my 07 nnbs tahoe. I have all the parts for it but have to find time to do it. And it's good info that you showed they can clear 18s rims. My tahoe is on 17s procomp rims and I'll be swapping them for 18s ram rims in order to clear the 2020 Silverado brakes. Did it on my 2011.. Didn't really change, but looks very good especially powder coated. Make sure you get steel braided lines..

You’re so lucky I had Cadillac 22 inch rims that I was going to trade for my OEM’s. I literally got there. The back tires were on. We put the front tires on and it was hitting that stupid hump on those brake calipers I would love to have your brake calipers and your rotors to put on my 21 Silverado I was devastated. I wanted them so bad but I heard there’s guys out there who are shaving them down there grinding them down so they can get the wheels on there.

I'm grinding mine down to the point there's a small hump. Heard many guys on Performance Trucks reporting no issues after a year or so of daily driving. Sold me. Powder coating them next week.
