We've got a 2009, same engine, Harvest Moon in colour, bought used with 32,000 miles. Still have it, now with 248,000+ miles, my wife drives it now... and really likes it.

@@christianhandal Our last two Beetles did not fair so well, a 2013 Black Diesel Sedan, purchased in August 2018, totaled in July 2021, a 2013 White Convertable Diesel, purchased in October 2021, totaled in December of 2022. Yeah, I've had some hard luck in the last 30 months. We did find a 2014 Eos, with just under 10,000 miles on it. We're hoping for better luck with this one. They are fun little cars to drive though. Follow the maintenance schedules closely and it should serve you well.

I only have the “lowly”, 1.6 Petrol Luna. But really like it so much. This excerpt is very interesting, but surely would have made more sense, with a commentary. We know how it goes, !, but a few brief words, would complete the package. Kind regards from Scotland.

Do the 2010 vw beetle run good? Because I heard that the 2014 to the 2019 runs better in just asking because I want one but I love the old school models better!!!

It does run well. I was impressed with the pick up acceleration on this 5 cylinder engine. If you do plan on this year model aim for one with low mileage and check to see if they kept up with maintenance. The newer models don’t look so bad either and I’m sure the 4 cylinder turbo must pick up really good.
