Key point they touched on, that ALOT of people don't understand. This car was TUNED after installing the CAI. Without a TUNE to program the ECU mods like these are going to be USELESS. Ask a mechanic if you like.

its just an air filter bro. the same can be said for any car that you change filter. BUT if you get headers and exhaust too then technically you also need a tune BUT its not necessary BUT it is recommended to gain the most from the upgrades. A tune is not for everybody.

Just a question, why do you guys only say 2011 and up? i have the intake on my 09 and it works perfectly fine, the cars have no mechaniacal or even any huge cosmetic difference bettween the model years. Even when i ordered the intake was told it wouldnt fit, to which i just said ha no, it'll be fine. Love the product though, its awesome.

Wow...why are the baseline dyno numbers so low? I thought the maxima had a 270hp base engine hp? A standard 15% drive-train loss would be 229 whp.

290hp actually and with about 227whp 223wtq. I did a dyno on my 7gm check the vid. That was all stock

Just a question.....with the metal pipe and filter sitting up so high in the engine bay area....does this setup REALLY recieve ??COLD AIR?? I mean the pipe is sitting right next to the engine.

nope. its no true cold air intake. just a fancy title, its really just a short ram. Will help in the Higher RPMS but you'll lose low end power.

The graphs you show say "max gain hp 10 @ 4700 RPM " and "max gain ft-lb 12 @ 4700 RPM" but its clear to see that the gain is much larger @ 4200 RPM. What's up with that? Do you have a link to a real chart that goes below 4200 RPM for these cars?

I believe so.not 100% but with mods like this they usually void warranty.its not wrth it to me.i own a 13 maxima sv sport and put a drop in k&n and it helps with air flow and a few horse power

Talk to a mechanic before buying these, your car has to be set up for these, your cars stock computer is not designed to work with these, you will not really get any real performance gains if your car is not tuned for it.... To be honest, the only thing these will really do to your car is make it look cool when you pop the hood, and how often do you pop your hood to show people how cool your air filter looks, if you are racing for time, this might help you gain a fraction of a second, for people driving on normal road, this does nothing lol.

Ahhh fuck warranty just do it any thing put old filter back Just remove air filter box , leave the stuck extension Buy a pipe with air sensor hole in it and the new filter And done easy and faster less work less money dont spend hundreds of $$$$ U can do it for less than 50
