Sean Rash and Pete Weber really inspire me as a bowler. Ever since 2005, I wanted to be great like they are.

What a match !! People keep hating on sean, I liked him ever since I first saw him, ton of revs on the 5 board, cheetah pattern... Awesome kid with an even better game

Imagine the pressure Rash is feeling, sitting there watching the monitors show all of the huge mistakes you've made throughout the years...and knowing that all you have to do it stay clean.

What would I say to someone if they said "Hit the pocket when u need it" to me after I won? I would be like..Well, you're the one going home!!
@smelfungus13 жыл бұрын
Haha, Pete was pissed that he lost to that strike. I would be too. I'm kinda glad Rash didn't fold, though. He's fun to watch.
@Ub3rn00berer13 жыл бұрын
Hey Pete: sometimes people get lucky strikes. Sometimes people throw it in the gutter in the final shot of a championship round and you win the title you shouldn't have won. That's how bowling goes sometimes.
@Candlepinman13 жыл бұрын
I was rooting for Pete the whole game and still wish he won the Match (nothing againced Rash) but the comment from Pete at the end kind of surprised me to be honest. Like others have said, it REALLY sucks losing so an off pocket hit like that, but those are the breaks sometimes. I know Pete must have got a similar break to win a match SOMETIME during his long and sucessful career.

Awesome upload, crappy Pete had to lose to such a crappy strike
@Ragoldiesfan12 жыл бұрын
I don't think Pete did the right thing in reacting the way he did to Sean's break in the 10th frame. Most would shrug it off. Remember when Michael Haugen brooklyned in the 10th against Belmo in their match in the 2011 WC stepladder. Belmo accepted it and reacted like a gentleman. Message: Pete pouts when he loses and rubs it in when he wins!
@TheUltimateFlyerFan11 жыл бұрын
I kinda took that as poor sportsmanship by Weber. Rash is an excellent bowler and he did hit the pocket.
@LargestBowlingNut10 жыл бұрын
The brooklyn in the 4th plus the strike in the 5th gave him a double, and 10th shot with the trip 2-4 wasn't a pocket shot either and that gave him the double Rash needed.
@TheUltimateFlyerFan10 жыл бұрын
LargestBowlingNut He still hit the pocket when he needed it, whether it was a trip 2-4 or not. Regardless, the comment by Weber was not necessary.

@Ballard1979 He does live up to his name. PDW didn't deserve that. He was solid through out until he needed to make the adjustment on this match.

Yeah..Well I know that...All the years I watched him on TV he has always been like this..He tells the audience to be quiet and if they have ever heard of something called sportsmanship and he always shoots his mouth off...he should ask himself the same question...

Rash should experience more sucess if he maintains his state of mind like this.You can tell something within him was changed which showed outside. He seriously looked more like one of those pro bowler of the older days this time rather than a punk that jump all over trying to run his own heroric show. Looks like something changed his mindset alil. Marriage I presume?

Im sorry Weber, but that was not called for at the end... Yes you are one of the greats and yes even Rash gets a little poor when he is defeated but come on... Hit the pocket when you need it lol.... And for those who say Weber may have been talking to himself at the end I would believe it if he didnt string as many strikes at the end. Im sure he said it because of the big break Rash got in the 10th.....

"You're a badass but I wanna have your position one day" saying that after 3 of the luckiest breaks ever when you need a strike. Plus to someone like Pete Weber? haha oh my. That's pretty much saying "pete you getting shitty so I'll take your title". Well who knows, Pete might not have struck out so oh well whatevers.
